The Abraham Lincoln Enlisted Support Group (ALESG) provides family members of enlisted Sailors with information and emotional support while the ship is out of homeport. The group organizes get-togethers, parties and other activities designed to build the bonds of camaraderie and friendship while fostering an understanding of the Navy and the requirements it places on its Sailors. The group also helps improve and increase the flow of communication between the command and its families.

Your Command Ombudsmen are your link to the command to provide advocacy, information and referral services. Our goal is to assist you in accessing the appropriate level of chain of command for information and services. Above all, we strive to maintain confidentiality when appropriate.
The Spouses of Abraham Lincoln Officers (SOALO) serves the informational and emotional needs of the officers' spouses while the ship is away from homeport. The group's leadership, assisted by the Ombudsmen and the command, provide updated information to the officers' spouses about the Navy, the ship and their loved ones on board. The group also sponsors social activities to promote camaraderie and friendship among group members and within the surrounding community.
TRSG is an organization open to family and friends of TR enlisted personnel. We offer support, friendship, and a place to turn in a time of need or just to have fun. Meetings are held monthly call the TR Careline for more information. For more information, please call (757) 423-2506 Option 4.
The Carl Vinson Officers' Spouses' Club (CVOSC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of its members while their spouses are stationed aboard the USS Carl Vinson. Monthly meetings are held either at the homes of members or at local restaurants. We plan a variety of activities for children and adults throughout the year. For more information call the careline

The Careline provides a general information service for all members of the JCS Family. The Careline carries the latest available information on the ship's activities and schedule, as well as short notice information.

The Carl Vinson Enlisted Spouse Association is a organization to help support fellow spouses during the ships deployment. We have activities for the adults and children during each month. We meet twice a month the second Tuesday of each month is our Planning meeting at the BOQ on PSNS at 6:30. The last friday of each month is our General meeting at the Family Service Center on Bangor at 6:30.
